Thread: Beginning in College too late?

Default Beginning in College too late?

I've always had a passing interest in wrestling but never had the opportunity to pursue it in high school. The college that I'm going to now (University of GA) has a wrestling club under the National College Wresting Association.

Is it too late to begin learning or should I give it a shot?

If you have some natural talent for it and have a good coach, you have plenty of time to become competitive, but don't expect results overnight. The worst thing that will happen is that you'll get in good shape, learn some technique, make some friends, and develop an appreciation for the sport.
