Re: Wrestling Roadtrip -- Must-See Mat Landmarks ?
Thanks to everyone for providing great must-see mat landmarks for any fan's wrestling roadtrip. I never would've thought there would be so many worthwhile stops, all over the country. I only wish I could visit all these places in person!

If you are in Sunbury, PA the Resilite factory would be a must see.
As an old team mate of mine related, he was in Sunbury on business and stopped by Resilite. He walked in the door and was asked by someone if they could help him. He said he just came in to smell ....to which the employee responded; "We get that a lot!"

My Wrestling Roadtrip story has been posted to Rev. Thanks to everyone who provided suggestions for sites to include!
Roadtrip
Summer is here! While this time of year is usually thought of as the off-season for wrestling (at least in terms of high school and college), fans can feed their fix by planning a wrestling roadtrip. Across the United States there are a number of wrestling museums, halls of fame and other must-see sites of interest for the sport's participants and supporters. RevWrestling.com has put together a wrestling roadtrip that features a number of top wrestling-related landmarks. http://revwrestling.com/articles/390...tling-Roadtrip

Mark,
Good stuff ... the historical angles are fantastic, since there are still many young wrestling fans out there who don't know the history of our sport. Sadly, I was one of those fans and have been diligently reading books and researching old AWN's to fill the void.

Man, I haven't been to see the Lincoln sites since our sixth-grade field trip. I think it's time to get back down there -- especially if I can see the Lincoln-Jack Armstrong wrestling re-enactment!
Oh, and the rest of the article is fantastic as well. I learned a lot, Mark, as always. Thanks!
