Gee, Quick, if I had known that, I would have been a goober when I met you!

Here's another one:

It was either 1994 or 1995 WTT when they were held at Drexel. I think it was 1994. The tourney finished and my girlfriend (at the time) and I hit the bar downstairs at the hotel. I walk in and it's like a freaking wrestling convention. You name it they were there. Iowa guys. Okie State guys. Eiter, Jackson, Rosselli. Gable. I was like, ok I'm staying. I look over at the bar and there's John & Pat Smith sitting next to two empty stools. I say what the heck and go plop myself down next to them. We bullshitted with them for a few hours talking about everything from politics to technique. At one point John & I were talking about the finer points of some of his technique and he just grabs me and starts showing me stuff. We almost got kicked out of the bar. It was a fun night.
