Jay Thomas "Tommy" Evans

January 21, 1931 ~ March 18, 2008

Tommy Evans wrestled for the University of Oklahoma in the early 1950s, where he was a two-time NCAA champ... represented the US at the 1952 and '56 Olympics... then coached the Sooners through the 1960s into the early 70s. He died just before the 2008 NCAAs but his death was not announced at the event (at least I didn't hear it acknowledged).
