This video shoes the best years of adidas wrestling shoes. That is just before their merger with brute. They maintained the style with the combat speeds and the John Smith Int. Lights. And the They produced the style that Cross wore for his gold the Adistar. Then they have kind of gotten lost for a while.

I called them last year and complained about the new shoe designs and I told them to look around on ebay and other wrestling sites to verify, that there is a great demand for their older styles and that they should reconsider the development of their throw backs.

They did say that the adistar design with the fat stripes will never come back. Something about the stripes not being the proper size or something like that. I don't know but it seems like they are getting the idea, I saw a post with the new release of the combat III's coming soon! Get ready!

Talking about Combat speed shoes. I'm still in high school but my 8th grade coach had a pair that were black and red. They were the coolest things i have ever seen. So the second day of practice i my toes some how came out of the bottom of my shoes so i wrestled in socks for two days till the weekend. I went to a old sports store that was still open in Columbus Oh. and i found a pair of black and red Combat Speed shoes and i got them two sizes to big for my foot so i could wear them in high school but they are getting old fast and i don't think they will make it till the end of the year so i plan on looking for another sweet hidden gem shoe that no body has seen in a long time.

I sold a brand new pair of Combat Speeds for $300 earlier this year. That was a nice little profit.
