Does anybody else think that Asics wrestling shoes are getting uglier and uglier. The lines the had a couple of year ago (jackel, splitv, live2pin, orginal cael's) I didn't think were bad but this year's and last's I think are horrible. Weird question I know but just wondering if I am the only one.
They definitely are going away from their old designs. The only ones I really liked from the next batch are the Cael 3.0's... everything else is just a little too outlandish.
I miss the old international lytes. The black and pink ones.

I Think they need to focus more on the color selection for the Cael.. they have two colors that don't sell, and a Black/Gold or Black/Silver option would sell like hot pants in the '80s
What happened to single color shoes......white, black, the occasional red or blue; thats all we need!!
I like the current Rulons, the black/gold aren't too flashy.
Exactly. I had the original pair of Dan Gables, then got a pair of the Gable ultraflex, the coolest looking shoe of all time, although probably the least durable. I refused to get rid of them, literally had to sew all the tears up after a while.Quote:
