What makes Combat Speeds so Special?

They're great shoes... But I don't know what else you're looking for in them? Rocket boosters? Wings?

The combat speeds are ultralight, nearly half as light as any other shoe on the market. They're also very flexable. Other than that it's just a shoe man, no other way to describe it. Probably the best shoe I've ever had, I regret getting rid of them.

Brand new? What do those go for $300??

They are light comfortable, have good traction, and a lot of good guys wore them. I liked the sole. I have had other shoes and the sole is starting to seperate from the shoe. Its not a big deal since I got a years use out of them but my combat speeds made it through everything.
I liked the white adistars better but cant really give you a reason except I thought they we are a little lighter and gave me more drive off my toe.
