Default Wrestling diet (wrestlers dieting)

I wrestle so I have to make weight for my matches. To keep from being over weight I usually can't eat anything the day of a match. I usually have an hour or two between weighing and when I have to wrestle. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can eat after I weigh in that will give me quick energy for my match?

I was about the same as Schlottke, a bagel, some yogurt, some Gatorade to get some electro lights back in you. I always liked to have some water, and some Gatorade, but that was just me, I'm sure one or the other would do you just fine.

Try http://www.wrestlingperformance.com/...fID=wrestlingt hope you can stable your weight that will always just under the limit. A friend of mine in high school did this, and he won a lot of matches against guys like you who try to make weight by deprivation.
Best of luck!

Would you or him be able to explain what the benefits of this program are?

EDIT: I figured this was spam by WrestlingPerformance, but was not sure so I searched for information related to the post... low and behold:

The first poster (In this thread, and that thread) has one post, which are virtually identical to eachother- posted by WrestlingPerformance... then the WrestlingPerformance guy comes back a couple days later with and new user name and his answer; which is pay his company for services. This does not mean that his services are not any good- he is just using a questionable strategy for marketing.

I talked to Steve Preston, the owner of WrestlingPerformance.com and he assured me that the company he had doing his marketing has been canned, and the spamming of the forums will stop- he was extremely helpful, and quick about his resolution. I will be reviewing his product, and posting my insight in the next week or two.

Who is this friend? I would put some of my weight cutting friends against him without a problem.
