Paving The Way

In the latest edition of Rev Rewind, RevWrestling.com's Mark Palmer gives a detailed account of a classic match-up from nearly a century ago between two legends, George "the Russian Lion" Hackenschmidt … and Frank "the Iowa Plowboy" Gotch, two professional wrestlers who paved the way for amateur wrestling. The two men met twice -- first, in April 1908, and then again on Labor Day 1911.
