Gable, Cael Sanderson, John Smith, Hodge (with his hand sticking out)
Gotta say, I really can't disagree with matclone. Gable, Cael, Hodge, and Smith

I was going to say those four, but I don't think Cael has really established himself yet as being in the same league as the other three. Not to minimize his outstanding and singular achievements, but Gable and Smith have distinguished themselves over the years as outstanding competitors and coaches, and Hodge was much more impressisve in NCAA competition, as well as freestyle and Greco-Roman. Save that fourth space - if Cael can coach a few NCAA championship teams, maybe he'll earn the spot.

Maybe Bruce Baumgartner over Cael or Hodge?
I believe his is the most decorated Olympian in US history.
I agree, Baumgartner deserves to be in there. Or perhaps with his size, he'll have his own mountain?

Dan Gable, John Smith, Bruce Baumgartner, and Dan Hodge (reserved for Cael Sanderson).
Is it pretty much settled then, except for the fourth face? Shall we tell the quarrymen to proceed?
Oh, in which state shall this monument reside? (there must be rock).
Should Gable be carved with or without the glasses?
