hey all,
just wanted to get ur opinions on compression shorts. Like jockstrap vs. compression. should compression be worn under the singlet? should u wear them to weigh in. I personally wear both a jock and compression depending my mood and don't wear them to weigh in i wear a jock to weigh. Most importantly though which brand and kind for i am going to get a pair or two for next season. Thanks guys.
Honestly, I went commando under my singlet all year. That's most comfortable. But, if I had to choose, I would definitely pick compression over a jock. Just wear regular underwear to weigh in, though. Underwear weighs a little bit less.

I am a new wrestler too and was wondering the same thing! I was just wondering why you ,Vanilla Gorilla, prefered compression over jock.
Personally, I think compression shorts feel a lot lighter and more comfortable. Jocks are uncomfortable to me.
