A young man from small-town Washington State is hired as wrestling coach at an inner-city high school near Los Angeles. He has to deal with wrestlers who blow off practice and wrestling events, and parents who don't see the value of sports. In time -- and with faith -- the coach comes to make a positive difference in the lives of his wrestlers. Sounds like a Hollywood movie ... but it's the real-life story of Scott Glabb, coach at Santa Ana High School. InterMat's Mark Palmer recently talked to Glabb about his life, as told in the new book A Saint in the City: Coaching At-Risk Kids To Be Champions.
