Thread: Can anyone help me out with these wrestling history questions?

I've heard it said that the first collegiate wrestling dual meet was either between Yale and UPenn in 1900, or between Yale and Columbia in 1903. Does anyone know which claim is more reliable?

Also, does anyone know:
1) When was the first high school wrestling dual meet, where it took place, and which schools were involved?
2) Which state was the first to sponsor a state-wide scholastic wrestling championship tournament (either among teams or among individuals)?
