  1. I just realized I am older then Frank was when he died. How odd.

Besides the ones you have mentioned Shut up and Play Yer Guitar(all or some of these) and Apostrophe for the song Apostrophe with Jack Bruce making his bass sound like a saxaphone and Jim Gordon on drums Zappa on guitar. Edgard Varese a classical composer was a major influence on Zappa. There was a biography on biography about him. They had a jam session suprise when Frank was dying, Johnny Guitar Watson, The Cheiftans and 2 Mongolian throat musicians doing bringing in the Sheaves.

    lol, So, I have been big into the Jam band scene for a while, and all those guys were influenced by Zappa. I want to get some zappa stuff, but I have no idea where to start.

    Any suggestions? I've been recommended Hot Rats and Joe's Garage (I think) but I can't seem to find any of them locally.
