    Zappa.com has all 75 albums I think. Besides the ones you have mentioned Shut up and Play Yer Guitar(all or some of these) and Apostrophe for the song Apostrophe with Jack Bruce making his bass sound like a saxaphone and Jim Gordon on drums Zappa on guitar. Edgard Varese a classical composer was a major influence on Zappa. There was a biography on biography about him. They had a jam session suprise when Frank was dying, Johnny Guitar Watson, The Cheiftans and 2 Mongolian throat musicians doing bringing in the Sheaves.

    lol, So, I have been big into the Jam band scene for a while, and all those guys were influenced by Zappa. I want to get some zappa stuff, but I have no idea where to start.

    Any suggestions? I've been recommended Hot Rats and Joe's Garage (I think) but I can't seem to find any of them locally.
