Oh, I've seen the matches on flo. That's why I want to come see it for myself.

I keep seeing the whole "just make it two days" stuff too and it makes me laugh. My guess is that one of the reasons why so many kids are able to come from all over, is BECAUSE it's a one day tournament.

Anyway, I just wanted to drop a note of support. Good luck with it. I'll be watching on flo.

All the best with the tourney. F those who do nothing but complain. If they can do better, they should organize, market, and run their own tournament. One of these days, I need to make the trip down and video a few matches for the masses to see.

FWIW.... he is ranked ranked 24th in wrestling USA. Yeah, I know... not the best rankers, and anything past 10-15 if a crap shoot. I am just trying to help a friend, and a really good (wrestling and in general) kid.

Sara(dust) - I have a kid from Arizona (Tim Felton) who could place, but at the very least would make things interesting. His dad wants to credential him in based on rankings. He is a borderline top 25 kid in various rankings - and this is where he belongs. Still, he has skills (I hope I have enough wrestling credibility to say this), and would be a legitimate addition to this tournament.

Groveling here.... he is a great kid, and his dad is a good guy. If there is any way you could wave him in, I would appreciate it. Arizona should get at least one guy who has a shot at placing. As a state we have a good group this year, but after that the cupboards are bare. It is hard to convince kids to get to a tournament like this, much less have them sign up in time.

Anyhow, your help is appreciated and whatever happens...... no problem. :-)

Sorry ,I missed your original post -I assumed you meant the over all outcome and the 125 match was a key win for Maryland -Taylor walking into a headlock was also surprising -Jones is formidable but not really in Taylor's class -Greco,maybe

Thank you so very much -chhris is now 32 -1 but he drives me crazy -0 pins 5 techs -12 majors and the rest are 1-2 point victories . he has been wrestling so conservatively lately -I think he puts too much pressure on himself -Thanks again .
