Yeah I figured I'd get either a 184 or a 125. I don't really expect Spellman to do anything at NCAAs, and I'm sure I won't use him there, but I'm hoping he'll win his conference, but Umb isn't a lock to do so now that Patterson has emerged. I also thought about Bonnano. I now have a strong conference champ contender/favorite in every weight class, so I should have a good shot at the wild card if I don't end up making the top 6.

Since I had a vacancy in my roster, I picked up Tommy Spellman at 184 out of Va Tech. You think it's a good move?

Holy Shit! That is amazing! I'm speechless. Gonna stew on that one the rest of the day.

Russ, the Llamma, as I call him, (Dolly) is very fun to watch. You never know what kind of a match you will get from him. One match he can look unstoppable and the next he looks horrible. Nonetheless he is one of my favorites and I am happy they let him have another year.

I had shoulder surgery myself. It was a football injury. I was tailgating at an Iowa State game and fell over drunk while playing catch with a football. Had to have it scoped. It's my own fault. I should have never been in Ames in the first place. Hope your shoulder turns out well.

I agree with you that Chris Brown is tough for the colonial athletic conference. I just don't think he gets the job done at nationals this year and Fay will. I don't think that Chamberlain finishes lower than second in the PAC10 and may beat Heinrich for the title. Thanks for the offer though.

BTW when you call me sir you make me feel like I'm some sort of older fella that has to take naps in the middle of the afternoon just so I can stay awake until nine to see the early news. You can call me John if you would like.

Although I like Barnes and think both he and Brown will win their confrence tournaments I will have to pass. Chamberlain is right there with Barnes and has improved since their first meeting. He will give him a run for his money and could possibly win. Fay will win his conference tourney easy. I may be sacrificing a couple of points that may end up biting me in the ass if I don't have a good showing during conference but if I do happen to make it in I will need the points Moza will get me in the big show. Borwn just isnt in the same league. Sorry I cant help you.

You just posted it like yesterday, but that's ok. As long as you're satisfied with your line up, then it's all good.

You offered Hall on the Zapp forum, didn't you?

russ, can I get Bebee for brown and I'll draft muller.
  10. View Conversation
My plan is to flex Mitcheff and wrestle Gomez, I believe at NCAA's he has a fantastic shot at winning. That being said I think the big ten tourney at 133 will be harder than the Ncaa tourney

or one of my 165's and Obe Blanc for Hall AND Sentes?
  12. View Conversation
HOw about I send you one of my 165's and Lapotsky for Hall AND Sentes?

    huh?? lol.

The kinser avatar is kind of a joke because I was making a fuss about trusty getting points for him at 149 earlier this year, Jensens changed it
  14. View Conversation
It's because I feel that 125 is a much better division then 165. I think Reader and Morningstar are guaranteed AA's, while I feel Sentes is a possible AA.

Barnes was an awesome pick up, I'd stay with Stewart no one else in the MAC and to challenge him

Muller for brown. Lets do it. who is my best option at 33.
  17. View Conversation
Big tens at 33 is gonna be a bitch that's why I have Mitcheff I'm keeping a hold of in the Mac who will more than likely be my flex. Bell is the better choice 4 league but I'd be a little nervous at NCAA time

Kent State could really make some noise this year. They have never had an AA before, but Mitcheff, Lashaway, Kilgore and Porter all have decent shots at it this year. Kilgore and Porter obviously have better shots than the other too, but still.

Hadn't realized Barnes was so hot. Lashaway didn't really come out of no where--he beat Jaggers last year, too. He could AA, but just about anyone in the top 25 could at 141. It will just depend on how tough he can be after wrestling a few times.

Lashaway is a tough dude. I wanted to pick him up a while ago but I think someone had him at the time.
