Thanks, I know about Sorenson. He's pretty good but I think Anderson will take him again.

Why is 65 tough to seed? 1- Howe (0 losses), 2- Sponseller (1 loss), 3- Morningstar (2 losses).

After that I guess I don't really care about the rest...

Humphrey only has 2 losses, and Ness has lost to Dennis (2x), Hump, and Strayer for 4 Big 10 losses, so that may or may not change your results. Either way, it's anyone's guess, and I don't really think it's going to matter--anyone of 5 of those guys could win it.

I think I will use Halsey as my flex at NCAAs, just not for conferences; there is no way both he and Chriswell will both be conf. champs, but they will both likely be AAs. I will always at least listen to a trade offer, though.

The reason I put Dolly in instead of Keddy was because I figured he had a better chance of finishing higher than Keddy. I really havnt paid enough attention to know that you get more points if your in a bigger conference. I thought you got 16 for a champ and the point total went down as the place went down. I guess I should rethink my strategy a little bit.

I have a hard time finding results. I know there is a site that has them all and I know that Zapp uses it for our league. What is it, do you know?

I'm not too sure how Jantzen can handle a tournament right now either. He's not even in my lineup for conferences.

I think this is my best bet for conference.
125 Falck 133 Fanthorpe 141 Washington 149 Chamberlain 157 Leen 165 Fay 174 Luke 184 Dolly 197 Anderson HWT Brantley and Flex Oplinger.
Oplinger will have to face Bayers but I think he can handle him. Keddy could finish third, Burk sucks and Erekson could win it but could also finish third. I think Oplinger is my best choice for a flex.

It's the top 6 AFTER conference, plus the top scorer in Conference week who's not already in the playoffs.

I was at the Morningstar/Howe match this year when it went 3ot and Howe won because he had more riding time. Pretty pathetic. I wish they would do away with riding time because it makes the guy on top not work to turn. Although it is fun for me to see a tough ride. I don't know what these ivy league guys are doing. Just fricken wrestle. They shouldnt be sitting out anymore though since conference and NCAA's is all they have left. Just hope the lack of competing doesnt hurt Jantzen in the long run.

I think the Big Ten releases theirs during the week. Many seeding meetings are the day prior.

You're the man, Russ. I've got to cram for a test, but I'll think about this afterwards. Thanks a lot for the help.

Don't believe everything you read. Marable's win% is better than Mason's and Smith's. Yeah Reader and Dwyer have better records, but Marable is like 11-0 career against Reader, Dwyer, and Mason. I'm not worried.

Just best guesses based on conference results, previous finish, ranking, etc...

(cont.) How I have ended up in the bottom 1/4, I have no idea (although I'm sure if I asked Brother LoSt what the deal is he would give me a 10-point analysis on the spot ! Ah well, piss, moan, bitch, wail, poor meeeee! Thanks for listening Brother Payton.

    Brother R.Payton,
Oh man, I thought I had a great dark horse pick with Caponi, ACC champ, made it to the Rd of 12 @ NCAA's... but this year, there is no way of knowing who you are going to have from match to match! Drives me f'ing nuts!!! I don't really know what the story is.
Here is an interview from late January, were he supposedly has every thing back on track:

    http://www.virginiasports.com/ViewAr...ATCLID=3651414

However, February pretty much went like the previous month. Goes from being Randy Lewis to Josh Budke, week in, week out. Worse part for me is that I don't have another 84 lber, so I am stuck. Man this season just went to shit Brother Payton! I had what I thought was a great squad- 5 potential NCAA champs (Gomez, Russell, Luke, Varner, Ellis) another with a great shot at the top 4 (Sanderson) and a real dark horse surprise heavy who was a Jr. world freestyle champion (Eric Nye).

I may change it. I can't decide--is Caponi healthy now? Both of them have about the same chance of winning. Which one do you think will have more matches in conferences?
  15. View Conversation
I really dont think you can go wrong either way, I might be tempted to go with Brown as he is already a returning champ and might have another match, but both guys should win their conferences.

Sorry I'm not sure what your question is?
  17. View Conversation
    Oh yeah and Lashaway.

It wasn't a bad week for me considering the number of matches I had. I think I had 16 matches and scored 62 points, so I just about averaged a major every match. Not bad, but not great. I could have a very good conference week or a very mediocre week.

Potential Conference Champs: Fio, Hump, Jaggers, Metcalf, Hall, Hamrah, Sponseller, Miller, Brenner, Umbehauer, Spellman, Chriswell, Porter.

Probably Champs: Metcalf, Hall, Miller, Brenner, Spellman, Chriswell, Porter.

The PAC10 champ at 197 will come from my team, but I think I am only starting Chriswell for conferences because I think Brenner and Miller should both win. You think that's a good idea?

The Pine Barrons is New Jersey's answer to the Ozarks, hillbillies in their own world. It's an undeveloped area primarily because it is lowlands and swampy in many areas. They take up residence back there because there are no civil controls.
