Hi all im from the Uk and have recently started some greco roman wrestling as part of my mma training, at the moment im having a bit of trouble with the whole shooting for a takedown bit, in terms of getting my knee down and getting the footwork right when going for the shot. My question is are there any website's videos etc that explain the BASICS step by step as the next chance I have to practice will be over a week away, and I would like to know some drills so that I can move on by the next session. Where in the UK are you from? If it's England. read no further, I don't help Enlishmen! Go to youtube and look up Judo. They'll have some nice throws for you. *looks left then right, speaking sotto voce he continues* Here's some takedowns tutorials featuring Gene Mills, though directed to Freestyle/Folkstyle you can use them in MMA, just tweak them to avoid falling into the 1/2 or full guard. And don't tell Gene I showed you these. They call him Mean Gene for a reason.

I'm sure there is are a couple of freestyle teams in Wales but it might not be anywhere near you
Check the British Wrestling website and see if there are clubs near you
