Default Grand Prix in Baku, June 27-29

Today the greco guys wrestled.

In the 74 kg final, Ilgar Abdulov (AZE) beat Kvirkvelia (GEO) taking his revenge for the defeat in the finals of the 1st qualifier in Rome.

In the 66 kg final, euro champ & world medalist Tamas Lörincz (HUN) beat Olympic & world champ Farid Mansurov (AZE). This was another revenge: At the 2007 worlds, Lörincz lost to Mansurov.

Tomorrow, interesting matches are expected in FS.

It was a mistake of mine - FS will be not today, Sat, but tomorrow, Sun.

Maybe it will be not that interesting. Today the AZE federation decided that the AZE top-wrestlers Nauruz Temrezov (84) and Hetag Gazyumov (96) shouldn't participate.
The fans expected to see the clash Gazyumov v. Kurbanov, UZB. It will not happen.
