In Russia wrestlers have titles such as candidate into master of sport, master of sport, international master of sport and so on. The more you win the higher your title becomes. Everyone over 22 years of age or so along with a master of sport title or higher gets a Bacherlor's in PE along with it. They take some courses but its nothing like American colleges.

Basically they figure anyone with great results in wrestling has enough experience to get a PE degree.

the law degree is, i guess to get into politics after the wrestling career.

Exactly! It is really a great strategy since nobody is more respected than wrestlers in some of those Caucas regions and they readily accept wrestlers as their representatives.

Yes it is a diminutive form of Buvaisar. Same way Tolik is a nickname for Anatoliy, Sasha for Aleksandr, Misha for Mikhail, etc. Same way we have Tony for Anthony and Bob for Robert, etc.

Although Buvaisar is not a Russian (Slavic) name.

Thats what I meant with Buvaiser being more busy with meeting people and getting more influence in certain regions than training.
Thats what I heard from people who trained in krasnayarsk.
Anyways these things happen in a lot of countries. It just has to do with the respect and status of a sport or music or even acting etc. in certain countries.
