This kinda got lost on the other thread in the "credit card company" debate.

Anyone got any firsthand accounts of thrown matches, bribed officials, rigged draws, etc? There seems to be a lot of rumors about corruption around and, from what I can tell, a lot of them have basis in fact. Perhaps someone "in the know" can tell some actual stories, or at least explain how big of a problem corruption is at the world/olympic level.
