Qualifier 66 kg 1/2 - Looks like the PRK coach flipped out because he thought the mat official looked in the bag first and then picked the ball. Looked a little shady to me. The mat chairman seemed to blatantly hold it open. Might be hard to see because the camera cuts off the top of his head.

I was originally referring to the second clinch when I posted this. I didn't even look at the first clinch. Holy crap, the ref looked right in the bag!!! Look at the refs sitting on the side: All of them are signaling that the ref looked directly into the bag.

What a sham!!!

Looks to me like he was looking into the bag. On the first clinch, it even looked like he picked up one ball, then dropped it and picked up the other.

lol, well fila still does not cease to amaze me, this clinch is even easier to rig than to have a weighted coin in a coin toss, lesson here, dont go to clinch unless your russian

I didn't quite catch the cheating on the first clinch, but the gong show and the muffed start on the 2nd one were ridiculous.

On a bit of another note, perhaps someone more informed about international wrestling than myself can explain a little bit of how the corruption occurs? Does FILA favor certain nations? Do individual officials get paid off by athlets or their delegations? I've noticed on wrestling boards that whenever a Cuban loses in the final, there are allegations that they were bought off as well.

Anyone in the know care to share stories or details of how widespread cheating of this nature is in wrestling?
