Default Mussulbes is outstanding

Just watched his qualifier matches last night. He is smarter and overall better than the rest of the field. No wonder Russians are so nervous he is competing for Slovakia. Its amazing how well he is put together at 36 years old.

Why is Mussulbes wrestling for Slovakia instead of Russia? Does he already have enough money?

That is why at the Ulan-Ude tourney, Buryatia/Russia, there is a 50-kg class, and no HWT

That's because few people in that region weigh more than 74 kg!

It was an international tourney!

Interestingly, US participation was adjusted to the "anomaly" of that region. 3 of the 4 US wrestlers were from the divisions under 74.
Fullhart, 84, must have had the appearance of a HWT for the local population.

BTW, the Henri Deglane tourney (in both GR & FS) doesn't have the 120 class but also the 55 class.

People have to understand something though. I wrestled in every weight class from 50kg to HWT in my life. Even though HWTs don't look as impressive it is much harder to get a big body to do what smaller bodies can do. The bigger the body the more it resists to fine tuning of conditioning, technique and speed all put together.
