What I don't understand is why do they say "wrestler must not look in the bag"? Why not just blindfold the wrestler before he picks his ball?

its a good rule. if you have seen some of the matches in the last few years, the ref will flip the disc, then pick it up so it happens to favor a certain wrestler. it happened to Joe Warren and TC Dantzler too i beleive.
