I know there was Satitiev; I think he is incredably physically gifted. I thought he has some really cool tricks on his feet with incredable scrambling ability and defense; I really enjoy watching him wrestle. I remember watching older guys like Pinigin and other Russians from the 70s and 80s doing incredible stuff. I dont know about the whole setup stuff. Because yes
Saitiev uses lots of setups, but a
Gatsalov to my opinion doesnt have to many. Same goes for
murtazaliev. They basically do 2 or 3 techniques all the time, really all the time.
For instance Aldatov (ukr) makes a really strange rotation with his right or left arm before shooting a double legged takedown, which is very suprising beause of that misleading arm.
And yeah, Satiev is physically gifted but I think more mentally developed. He isnt really a physical wrester but knows how to be the director of the match. The only physical plus he has is his flexibility which is almost like a snake.
murtazaliev always shoots from the side to the opponents right leg or pulls the right arm and because behind his opponent.
If you look at Americans to my opinion, they are never really calm, they are always really busy, agressive, moving etc. whereas russians are a lot calmer in their style.
The only 2 persons that could master the american way of wrestling with a lot of agressiveness and movement are 2 my opinion smith and canderson. They both moved alot. And sure fadzaev and those ussr guys were moving alot too, but Im talking about the current wrestling individuals
Russian wrestlers sometimes hardly move or are very relaxed but still cautious for instance
Ketoev, looks like the guy steps out of his bed when he comes up.
