Last weekend Kurtanidze wrestled in the first dual meet of his German club in the new season of the German league, at 96.

He beat a not-known guy of Greece only 2:0, 1:0, 1:0 (note, the German league rule is 3 of 5 periods, not 2 of 3 as under fila rules).

No idea. I didn't watch that match. But... today I attended another dual of his club. He beat the guy of Lithuania, a young wrestler (until recently junior) who for the first time wrestled as senior at the worlds last month (lost to Ebrahimi). Kurtanidze easily beat him but without working to hard for a convincing victory. Soo, the margin wasn't too big.

Besides Kurtanidze, two other Georgians who wrestled at the worlds (not only at the last one) wrestled in that meet - Bichinashvili (84) of Germany and Bedenidis of Greece (74). Both won their matches.
