I think it should be, he's (Warren) a big boy and representing the US. If he's done something against the rules and has been disciplined for his actions the wrestling community has a right to know what's up. I think Joe is awesome and hope all works out for him, but on the other hand if your a role model and in the public eye, you better behave. I myself unfortunately went through some "crap" back in the day and had to learn the hard way.
If something like this happened on the USA basketball team, the media would be all over it.

Joe Warren will not be competing in Baku. He will be eligible for Beijing but unfortunately will not be cleared before the 2008 Pan Ams, which will qualify the weight for the Olympics.

what?? i thought the pan ams were no longer qualifiers for the olympics. i was under the impression that the world championships, and the two 'olympic qualifying tournaments' were the only possible ways to qualify for the olympics.
Sounds like he got caught doing something that he shouldn't have been doing.
