Yeah I dislike the fact that the period goes to the last person too. If the round is even let one score or something. Winning by catching up to your opponents score, to me this is a draw.

I just don't understand why they can't let a tied round count as a tie.
If it the score is even after one round then both wrestlers are 0-0-1, if the second round is tied as well then they are 0-0-2. Then the third round winner wins it all unless the third round is tied again. Then go to any tiebreaker you want... this would only happen if all three rounds were tied or if each wrestler won a round and the third round was tied.

This almost completely eliminates the clinch and some body losing a match 1-1 and 1-1.

Well if you really want FILA to take you'er thought in to consideration. You can wright the editors, of Amateue Wrestling. I know some people who did this and some rules were changed.

I liked the 'bad point' system........you could have a bad match and still will overall as John Smith did for his second gold medal

The NCAA has nothing to do with the International Rules, that would be FILA. The rules for the NCAA have not changed in 1.2 million years.

Are you sure about that zag. All I have to say is june 10th 1977 is not 1.2 million years If you want I can post the letter. But I think you should look at a book called wrestling on & off the mat. pg. 109 I believe. After that then you can make your assumptions.

1977 is 1.2 million years ago in wrestling terms. Have you heard of sarcassam. I am still correct about FILA and the NCAA however!!!

Also, the NCAA rules changes in 1977 are nothing compared to the FILA rule changes in the last several years, completely changed the sport of freestyle and greco wrestling.

Yes but your saying its not possible at all for someone to change somthing. Its a long and hard process, but if its a problem it can be changed. And all of the stuff I say is plausible. But I starting to think that you see me pulling my Info from thin air.
