Yea but Karelin and Saitiev didn't get their ass pinned in a freakin semifinal match. Not just that; i mean he literaly looked like he was about to pass out and die right there. That never happened to Karelin and Saitiev.

I would argue that Ketoev had much tougher opponents than the georgian. IMO he had the toughest draw of the whole tournament. the bottom bracket at 84k was ridiculous.

Agree, his draw was absolutely brutal. I'm just impressed with Mindo winning is all.

There is no way that 4 matches is too many for 1 day. Especially coming from americans who by all acounts have as many as 6 in a day. I am shocked that Mindo beat Ketoev, but I dont think is has as much to do with too many hard matches as it has to do with Mindo having Ketoev's number. I'm sure many here remember Cael picking Mindo apart in 2003. They both probably had 5 matches that day each.

I love how Big and grecowrestler talk shit the whole tournament that people should stop whining when Americans lose because the rest of the World plays by those same rules, but when the golden boy Ketoev gets destroyed the rules are bad and they need to be changed ASAP.
