Geez, I've been married for over 21 years and I still don't have any experience with females....
It's funny that one of the best experiences I had in sport was coaching a girls travel lacrosse team at the 13-14 year-old level. My first reaction when I was "drafted" to coach was that they would fit the stereotype of young teenage girls. Nothing was further from the truth. They supported each other and helped the players that had poorer skills and they amazed me with the heart they showed. At times when I thought they would fold, and had every reason to, they found ways to battle back. They had more heart than most of the male wrestlers I had when I coached a high school team.
Thirtyfive years of marriage, with three daughters. I have LOADS of experience with females, just no understanding.
Women are easier to coach, and more rewarding. They are also harder to coach, and more frustrating. It just depends on which moment and which situation you are in. I think the biggest difference is, with guys, you tell them what to do and they do it (or dog it). With girls, you tell them what to do - and why they need to do it. Then they do it. And while they are doing it they have to discuss it among themselves.

Tell me about it, this morning, I woke up and I shit a squirrel, but what I can't get is the damn thing is still alive. So now, I've got a shit covered squirrel running around my office and I don't know what to name it.
I don't have any big criticism of the women's competition--there were good matches, and some not-so-good ones. I don't compare their action to the men's matches, just as I don't compare the WNBA to the NBA. Different games.
My only real complaint re: the women's competition was the continued absurdity of having just 4 weight classes--but if that's the only way they could get the IOC to allow women's wrestling into the Olympics, I guess it's better than nothing. After struggling to watch the Greco this past week, I'm about ready to suggest they drop it altogether from the Olympics and just have men's and women's freestyle, each with about 8 or 9 weight classes.
Well, its the Olympics. I watch it because its the Olympics. They should come up with some "hairgear" that keeps their hair in place.
I actually DID see one woman wearing headgear, oddly enough. Hell, if it wasn't required, I wouldn't have ever worn it as a kid, let alone when nobody else is.
That said, get over it man... a good few of them could probably whip your ass, with their hands AND hair tied back.
