I am talking worldwide. I know Freestyle is more popular in the U.S. But which is more popular worldwide. It seems to me there was definitely more diversity of countries medaling in Greco than you see in freestyle.

The diversity simply means that Russia isn't doing as well at it.

Greco internationally I would say. The style is a shame compared to what it used to be. Brutal rules.

i realize how well they did last year but three golds and silver may be tough to beat. irregardless of the rules greco has always had more parity.

the 84 olympics for example was more competitive in greco than freestyle. there were more euro and world medalists from non soviet bloc countries in greco than free.
