FILA needs to get some nuts and bring the stall out back. If the officials can't handle it they should get out. Eliminating the dq for passivity has eliminated scoring. I know that it brings even more corruption in to play but it was better for the fans.

My 11 year old watched it and said that it was the most boring thing he's ever watched, said it was all defense.

If you want to bring the excitement back to greco then eliminate all hand and finger grabbing from all positions. It will bring back the big throws that are missing under the new format.
The other suggestion I would have would be to allow the top wrestler a full static cinch on the reverse lift to start the par tere. Once again this would get more throws and action into the match. An additional bonus if this were done is that the ball selection would become a moot issue.

I agree.

When I was watching the other morning I thought to myself there was a lot of nothing going on. Give me some action for goodness sake.

Good idea, and similar to what FS is doing. If the FS clinch was like the Greco one, it would start out with the losing wrestler standing on one foot and the other guy having to try to grab his leg before he put it down.
