I was wondering what the cost for the trip to fargo is in your state, here in Michigan, MUSAW charges $800 and camps are seperate but mandatory and cost $120. So for $920 you get two camps, two singlets, shorts, bag, t-shirt, jacket, transportation, and housing? How does this compare to the rest of the USA? Also, MUSAW does next to nothing to help you out with the cost. They give you one copy of a generic (and poorly written) fundraising letter that you are to send to businesses asking for help. The letter is so generic that it covers Cadet Duals, Junior Duals, Cadet Nationals, and Junior Nationals. It's very lame. Is it like this other places or do other states' organizations do fundraisers or anything to help?

Indiana CADETS = 1 STYLE $900.00 BOTH STYLES + $185 = $1085.00 JR's = 1 STYLE $950.00 BOTH STYLES + $200 = $1150.00 Cost includes two singlets, shorts, t-shirt, sweatshirt and jacket. Also included is a three day camp, transportation, room and meals. They stay in the dorms and eat cafeteria food.

They send you a form letter that you can send to businesses and such, but other than that not much.

It was around $750 a few years ago here in Okla. It incuded all the gear, a one week camp, transportation to and from Fargo and lodging. If a kid won the tournament, I think he got his $ back.

![]() | wouldnt this be just like getting a sponsor? i know of kids in the past who have gotten up to 700 hundred dollars to nationals for representing there association at a set amount of local tournaments, and then around nationals, theyd recieve the money. wouldnt this be considered the same thing? is it illegal?
