    Default shooting without setups

Theres somethin I thought of while I was looking at my videos of me wrestling, do any of ya'll shoot alot but never set them up? like ya kinda just dive in there, I always end up doing that alot and at least 75 % of the time I get the shots its just really hard and alot of times my head ends up between their legs instead of to the outside

anybody else here shoot without setups?

Unless you're faster than sh!t, it can be difficult to do, especially as you make your way up the ranks.

A wrestler shooting without setups is like a football running back carrying the ball without blockers. He may get some yardage, but he'd go much further with some interference. Don't be lazy - be the best wrestler you can be.

As my coach told me which I finally get, it's better to have a thousand set-ups with one shot than a thousand shots with one set-up. With that said learn as many set-ups as you can and you will be very hard to defend.

unless you are john smith, you will at least need some feints and head taps
