If an opponent knows that that is your primary counter to his shot then he is going to come prepared with his own counter...I always liked to watch Damian Hahn just sit on people's heads and square his hips however, once an opponent did that to Hahn once, they felt it. They rarely shot the double again.

If your opponent has his hands locked around both your legs, reach over his back and push his heels apart. That will break his grip and you can whizzer, crossface or whatever. This was taught to me by a master level Russian coach and it works - try it.

In fact it appeared so m uch weight was over the top it would have been easier to lift the legs and turn, given better position. - - unless of course you've got spider limbs. | | |
