I have been to kids club practices tougher than a practice at a rich high school.

Just from another board Desert Mountain and Marcos De Niza seem to be the schools around that area making the most noise... any info?
Thanks again guys. | | |

It has all the brackets for the past few years of the various state tournaments.
The Peoria tournament is the best tournament in the Phoenix area, and either first or second best tournament in the State - which includes the State tournaments.
The Flowing Wells tournament is the best one in the Tucson area and this tournament, and Peoria, usually trade off to which is the best. Peoria is usually the first weekend in Janurary. Flowing Wells is usually the following weekend. Both tournaments get most of the best teams in the state and a few out of state teams as well.

Sunnyside comes up to Phoenix for a couple of tourneys during the year, so you should be able to see them w/o having to travel to Tucson.

I think the dates are around the 20th and 21st of december.

Keep in mind they didn't even win state this past year in 4A-Division 1. I think Corona would have throttled them this past year. Just my opinion though.

Just my opinion though. | I can agree with you here but when you look at where they came from ten years ago to now being a perennial power I would say Coach Linscum has made a great impact on AZ wrestling. Even though he is a total douche but his son Tanner is a stud and won the dII nationals 3yrs ago and he is a great guy.

I have known the family for a long time, my cousin wrestled for him and coached with him so I have seen and heard it all about him. There was a chance he was coming back to Colorado and nobody in the wrestling community wanted that. It is pretty sad because he is a great coach. | | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
