Tournaments Joined: 2 Tournament Wins: 0 ![]() ![]() ![]() | I don't like the rule making the backflip an illegal escape from a standing position. I have never heard of anyone being injured from using this escape. To call it dangerous without cause seems like it is being over protective.

The foremost consideration of the rules is safety and this move looks like a problem waiting to happen. This isn't college and it's better to be over protective than not protective enough. I think they did the right thing.
