My Mood:  Tournaments Joined: 5
Tournament Wins: 1 |  little bit of bragging time..
My little cousin won his second state title at 152 this year (3x finalist) 11-4 in Wisconsin... he went about 86-0 the last two years.. didn't make it to state his freshman year, but was in the finals every year he did make it...
Not sure if he will do CC or Wrestling next year, but thought I'd put it out there.

Congrats!
We managed to qualify 8 wrestlers for state this year and came away with another state champ, 2 thirds and a 4th. A 3rd and 4th return next year, with three more qualifiers and a butt load of district placers and very good incoming 8th grade class. Kind of excited for the next few years for our team.

Congratulations for him!
2 of my sons will be doing cross country running next fall instead of football.
One son did it this year and he had much better endurance after his cross country season ended and entering the wrestling season compared to when he had played football the season before. |

XC is an excellent means for off season weaight control as well as endurance. |

I ran cross country. Never had a time that I was gased. It is great conditioning.

It helps to build mental toughness as well.
I didn't run as an athlete, but strongly suggest it as a coach.

Back to the bragging...
My team will be sending 2 wrestlers to the PA AAA Championship in 2 weeks.
Also, one kid is a senior and hopefully secured himself a spot on the WPIAL Dapper Dan team.
