(I knew this topic would spark some energy) But this is the best time of year culminating with the NCAA D1 finals right in the middle of us all!

But I think they moved it to the Schottenstein Center which seats about 20,000.

No, but for real I think I am going to go to the State tournament in Ohio, sounds like fun.

The interest level is so drastic.

Also another thing I was wondering, how much does it cost in other states? It cost 50$ for all the sessions in Ohio.

Then when the new arena was being built, they changed to 4 days, with more sessions to "lessen the congestion downtown." Wells Fargo is done now, and it's still a four day tournament. Now there are 10 sessions at $8 a pop.

They can't use all of the seating for the state touney even for the finals because of space considerations for mats, award area, media, etc. I think 17k is more than capacity and includes media, etc.
It is something to behold when all 10 mats are laid out on thursday and the place is buzzing with anticipation.

A young cousin of mine has a solid shot at winning the title at HWT in D1. Keep an eye out for Cody Beatty. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
