I coached a kid who got pinned in 6 secs.

It was actually about 4 or 5, but it took the ref a few seonds to get on the mat and call the pin.

My kid was a better than average wrestler, too.

A 215 lber, his oppontent bear hugged him straight to his back when the whistle blew.

We had lots of laughs about that match after the initial shock wore off.

my son is a freshman this year.{2007} This is his first year to ever wrestle. He goes to Wren High School in Anderson SC. The school record for the fastest
pin was 15 seconds until he broke it with a 9 second pin. He is in the 103 class.

I have witnessed a 6 and a 7 second pin. One was by Jeremy Wilson for Owatonna and I forget who the other one was but it was also by Owatonna.

I've seen a four-second pin. Two teammates at the NOVA Classic from Tallwood. Heated team race and one guy pushed the other, he flopped back, stayed flat and boom. Team points were the issue, but they ended up losing to Poquoson by about 2-3 points in the team race.
