Wrestling Assistant hasn't really gotten started
Default Wrestling Coaches website

www.wrestlingassistant.com

is a website maintained by wrestling coaches for wrestling coaches. This website promotes the sport of amateur wrestling by helping wrestling coaches be more effective and efficient. It is not about reporting results, creating rankings nor selecting All-Star teams as there are many great websites and publications that already provide those services. It is about posting technique, promotional ideas, practice tips - anything that might make the job of wrestling coaches easier. This website will be effective only if coaches CONTRIBUTE ideas and articles. So please:

USE it ... and ... ADD to it!!

I have a quick question for all of you that feel inclined to anwer. Would you belive that there are more Falls, Major decision, and Tech Falls in the lower weight classes or the higher weight classes and if you could explain why that would be great.

I would guess there are more falls in the higher weights because the physics of the weight to strength ratio makes lighter wrestlers proportionally stronger and thus more able to fight out of a pin. I have no idea if the statisics bear this out.

The reason i ask is that i am in a high school statistics class and i analyzed a couple of tourneys and found that in the championship round there is a tremendous amount more pins in higher weight classes but when the consilation bracket was looked at, it was the opposite so i was wondering what your thoughts were on that
