Another great Super32 is in the books.

Amazing how prized the belts have become. Those who do rankings are quick to point out how super32 results should be minimized, and that's certainly valid, yet......

Some of the nation's top guys are coming to fight it out, and those battles are difficult to ignore.

Enjoyed the quickly-posted videos and Jason's updates.

    It's a double-edged sword.

Oliver vs. Grajales solved nothing, 1-0 on a loss of control in four minutes. Both had opportunities to score, nothing resolved via the rankings, although Eric was pumped to get a belt, he'd been close the last few years.

Peppelman vs. Jameson. Again, solved nothing other than I'd like to see these two go the full six. With all the funky scrambles they got into, it was amazing only one point was scored, another escape.

Some results you can look at with some validity (hey, a fall, tech or major is the end result in four minutes or in 24 minutes).

But it's not the FIRST head-to-head. If anything, the results will be lucky to even be a fifth-tiebreaker, but what an event. This year was great and the drive back wasn't too bad either.

What I do like is that this will really put some kids on the map, like that eighth-grader from Michigan. Some kids show up on the national scene in Fargo, but for one day and a good tournament, you can get noticed and that'll allow the ranking folk to go back and do additional research and quantify/qualify if they're overall stuff makes the grade.

Verily. Plus someone like Kenneth Courts, who I guess you and Bucksman knew about, but the average fan didn't.
