Taylor/Grajales in the room..

I wonder if they got to wrestle eachother at all in preperation for the Dapper Dan? I am from Ohio, but if you watch both of these kids wrestle there is no disputing Taylor's technical superiority over Grajales. Granted, Grajales is probably a lot stronger, but so was Palmer. If you watch Grajales wrestle he muscles through many of his moves. I think Taylor will be the much better college wrestler..

I think Grajales will match Taylor's career.

Everyone always mentions Grajales' lack of technique, but I find it hard to reconcile that with the people he has beaten, esp considering the win at DD and earlier wins this year against Alton and Kindig were up a weight. Tough to muscle guys that good who weigh more than you. Reminds me of people on themat who say Metcalf has inferior technique and just muscles and wear people out. I call BS on both accounts.

I like Grajales, think his style is good for wrestling. I just think DT will trasition better in college.

BTW- Metcalf is a freak of nature and the exception to most rules..

Fair enough. I'm a Grajales fan, so I am a bit biased on this one. Metcalf is a freak. To doubt that would be to feel his wrath.

For what it is worth they are both great but I would give the nod to Taylor right now. After a year in College that could change because I think Grajales is a more natural athlete and College could propel him.

As for Metcalf I know he isnt slick but he has one the best high crotches I have seen.

It will be very interesting to see how they do in college. I know Taylor plans on redshirting. Also, he is just now hitting puberty--so who knows how big he will be. He has a lanky frame to grow into and I don't think he's done getting tall, either. In an interview, he said he wanted to redshirt and then he would probably wrestle 165 or 174! I can't wait to see a guy at a weight that high who has such incredible technique and flies around like David can. I just hope he is able to stay focused on developing his muscles to be strong enough.
