Can anyone give me a detailed break down of scoring in a high school tournament.
also if you could break it down to what scoring would be based on how many places are awarded.
I am developing a wrestling stat keeping program in excel and would like for the program to keep the scoring for the team up to date.

you might want to get the new rule book for detailed scoring as I think mine is a little off. 3pt for a decision, 3.5pt for major, 4pt for tech, 4.5pt for pin. you also get 1 for advancing, think it's +2 for placing 5th, +3 for placing 3rd, +4 for placing 1st. i would find my rule book but honestly don't feel like hunting it down.
