    hi everyone wrestle in the heavyweight div and my coach want me to go to 215 next year because he said it will make our line up better for next year but
    i weigh like 255 right now i think i can hit it but i was wonder if it really possible for me to get down there

    what are your fat percentages

    shouldn't be too hard if you're disciplined

    It really depends on your fat percentages.

    It's easier to lose weight when you have more fat to lose.

    40 pounds is kinda hard to lose. If your all muscle then its really hard to lose. I would live off salads and less meaty fatty foods. Run alot. Its gonna be hard to lose it but i bet you can make it ;D

    Not all heavy weights are just all fat. Some are ripped.

    How about NO! do not do it thats absolutely ridicoulous 40 lbs? Why don't you eat and be happy get leaner and muscle bulk up... Its not manly either to cut weight its DANGEROUS.

    Cutting weight is just part of wrestling. Yes 40 lbs is alot, but you do have time to condition yourself for it. The question would be do you enjoy wrestling enough to do it. Without the determination, dedication and discipline it won't work.
