Just a minor correction, That was Issac Jordan, Bo wrestles 122 for the Jr High and is in the 8th grade.

Great match, wish I could have been there.

The one thing that stood out to me is that Collin looked like he was having fun. I have only seen him a couple times this year and a few more times last, and he didn't look like he was having fun anymore.

I think that there wasn't a ton of pressure on him and he could go out and wrestle someone of his caliber. Over the past year, to me, it seemed more like a job and he wasn't having fun. I could be completely of base here and if I am I apologize up front.

Once again great match between two extremely great Ohio wrestlers. Best to both of them in the future.

I disagree completely with the statements regarding Taylor stalling on top. He was working for tilts and ultimately got one in the 3rd.

At the next level, that "stalling" scores points. Ohio is the only state that in my opinion is too aggressive with the stalling call. The reason that kids from Pennsylvania and the other eastern states tend to have more success on the college level is directly related to the way officials call the match in Ohio. As long as the officials in Ohio continue to call stalling against the wrestler simply for being ahead or in the top position, the Ohio wrestlers will continue to under perform at the next level.

Riding is an art, and an integral part of the sport. It is rapidly being regarded as nothing more than stalling and looked down upon.

I recently read or overheard (I forget which) a Pennsylvanian state after Ironman, "that he loved Coach Jordan and the Graham wrestlers because they wrestled like PA kids, they could ride."

If the officials continue to call the match this way, then our sport in Ohio will fall the way of our Olympic teams. The new international rules have made a joke of our sport. Medals being decided by the color of the ball drawn out of a bag. How ridiculous is that?

Taylor tried for tilts a couple times, and eventually got it, but most of the time he wasn't really moving on top--just sitting, and sitting on Palmer's hips. Start watching the video on Flo at 5:40 until the end of the 2nd--he sits on hips the whole time. Then check out at 6:50 until about 8:10. Taylor does NOTHING to try and improve his position and stays on the hips the whole time. Trying to get control of one wrist does not count, and that's all he does to "improve" his position. After the stall call (which comes with about 40 seconds left in the match), Taylor finally works and gets his tilt. Other than that, nothing.

About the Pennsylvania guy, I believe it was on ohiowrestlingsite.com forums and his name was pakid. He was probably trolling more than anyone I've ever seen, but yeah, I remember him saying that along with "St. Ed's is a joke and Urbas should be fired."
