Apple Valley will NOT have two six time champs as Eric Devos as transferred to Waverly Highschool in Iowa but McCauley looks to be on pace. Still can't guarantee anything with McCauley as he has three years left to continue winning and has had some close matches in the last two years. That being said, he looks like a pretty good bet to finish what he started with the six state titles.

I am new to this but i think this is an interesting blog. I grew up in oklahoma in the late 66's and early 1970's started when i was 6.5 yrs. and wrestled threw high school on college teams in texas because there there was no high school wrestling. My Question is this: When growing up in Tulsa oklahoma we worked out 4 hours per day, turned the heater up ran 5-10 miles a day 1000 sit ups and push ups. The best wrestling i thought in those days was in okla.we took stacked teams up the east coast and thru kansas to Iowa and just wiped tournaments out. Question: is oklahoma still the power house it once was in junior high and high school?Or is this to old school and know one really cares thanks, Mark | |
