What supplements out there are good for wrestlers? I know calcium and vitamin D is good so you don't break your bones. I've read magnesium is one of the most overlooked mineral that is really useful for athletes. But what else?

Try a daily vitamin. You get all the vitamins and minerals you need. If you get too much you just pee it out anyway or too much stored in your body can have adverse effects. Also, like dad said, eat your fruit and veggies.

So when you are wrestling in that match giving it your all you need that short energy burst! And it's really good for gains in strength which everyone can use more strength. I also read in an article is good for the brain and something about preventing heart attacks. Wish I could find that article in my magazine I would tell you all about it | |

my body doesn't respond to creatine. i've tried all sorts of creatine brands and intake methods. i think its worth experimenting with in the off season first. beta alanine is great. fish oil is great. a greens supplement is great. a multivitamin is great. but really the moral is this: a supplement is a supplement. the only absolute necessity on the list is a multivitamin. |
