When I watch college matches online, all I see most of the time are tilts. I barely ever see a half nelson, power half, headlock pin, I sometimes see a cradle attempt, but not often. Is there a reason for that or is it just coincidence that I watch matches where wrestlers just don't like to use those moves.

Then, when I watch college matches, the wrestlers seem to take a long time in neutral. ( They always circle each other, barely go for shots, tie up, but then break up again ) Is that because they are looking for the absolutely BEST opportunity to shoot or are they defensive wrestlers who want to sprawl and get behind for two?

Also, when I am wrestling, is it okay to just shoot when there is no obvious opening for me? I don't like hand fighting or tying up for a long time with my opponent for too long.
